IGNORANCE IS BLISS
So once again I’m here, starting to push away my laziness and scribble
what my mind commands.
Usually if a topic comes into my
head and if I ignore it for more than a day, it will punish me, I ain’t
kidding-I will forget about the topic or I’ll lose interest in that theme, but
this particular one is ringing in my head with a snooze period of six hours, it
is ringing continuously for the past two weeks, unable bearing it anymore, I’ll pour out what
made my mind to ring.
Till this day we would have got unwanted and undesirable shouting from
parents, gurus and why not even from our friends (ithu than kadupin ucham!) for
being ignorant. Have you ever felt relieved for being so? Ever had that
ring-around-the-head feeling for chosen not to know about what we shouldn’t
know?
August 15, Good day to post. We people are in bliss with ignorance of
the past. With the question of "what has independence done to us?" from many ‘responsible’
youths, I like to notify that what have we achieved out of the provided
independence, for our nation?
Back to square one. It’s tough not to travel with my thoughts and
provide only what I mean to say here.
Standing outside the exam hall, five minutes from the commencement
of the exam, where you find your friends bugging around your class topper who
just induced a confusion with most probable question to be asked in the exam
for which he alone knew the answer but he creates scene by expressing answer like
water from corporation pipe, you find face of your friends who bugs around him gets
greener as the clock ticks and ticks but you stand cool without engaging in any
of ‘probable-question’ discussion but calculating the ‘probable-person’ going
to sit near you, is a bliss!
Let’s assume that you are nearing the age of thirties, that’s the age
where you forget your own birthday. One night when you are sleeping peacefully (that
depends on your life ka partner) suddenly you hear a loud bang. With half
sleep, quarter fear and quarter frustration you wake up and finding your wife,
child/children (depends :P
), friends and colleagues standing with a black forest plus customary
few candles on it and banging poppers, making your half puzzled and half
sluggish face gets facial with cake with a bonus birth day song from them (not
to mention about the gifts :P ) The satisfied look you get after they leave is
a bliss!
According to myth, a girl and a guy can never be just friends. It fails
in few cases and it occurs in the rest. Let’s consider that the myth happens,
you are friends for a long time and from nowhere you get trapped into the
‘heavenly’ “hole” but you are too scared to confront it to the other.
Predictable reason it is, fear of losing friendship. After three- four months
of consultations and mental strain (Useless ideas given by friends included)
with fear in heart and fingers, you type “Shall we talk for a while; I need to
tell something to you”. And the other replies “Okay but let me tell you
something before that, I love you, and I really do. Please don’t mistake me, I
tried a lot not to grow this feel but I couldn’t help! Please don't stop talking with me! “. Tell me frankly how
would you feel if you are in that situation? Won’t you be in cloud nine?
In the above two classic examples there would have been happiness even
without the ignorance part, but the bliss with ignorance is unmatchable, the
thrill, the adrenaline rush is non-replaceable.
If there is positive they will be negative too, right? This is a tough
case; you had a love, which gave you golden days with golden moments. All of a
sudden the other says that it’s over! Your love gets halt, like a car without
an ABS, you lose your control. This is not one of the best situations to be placed in your brain but you can’t help it, what helps you is ignorance.
Ignorance of why the other leave you. I know that it’s difficult but if you know
the reason it will leave you devastated. The reason will kill you. At times not
knowing certain facts will make you unscathed. For this case “Ignorance is bliss;
relatively”.
They say knowledge is wealth, wit is divine, and studies make up a man,
ellam okay boss but say whether a PHD holder is happy? Satisfied enough to die
in the very next moment? A born child is ignorant but it is the happiest person
on the earth.
Ellathayum vidunga sir!
Can we live our life happily if we know our time of death?
That ignorance makes our life beautiful, filled with emotions and
colours.
So never regret if someone tells you that you are an ignorant idiot!
Ariyaa pasanga avanga! :P
